Discover the underwater world
Every dive, a new story.
Reefs, underwater landscapes and marine life: discover what makes this route special.
01
Underwater reef
Kudarah Thila
A reef alive with movement
Dense schools of fish gather above this submerged coral pinnacle. Overhangs and ledges change the play of light, and there is always something happening around you.
Take your time: explore the walls, look beneath the overhangs and watch the schools shift above the reef. The word “thila” refers to an underwater pinnacle.

Reef and canyon
Broken Rock
Between coral-covered walls
A large underwater rock is split by a cleft. This natural canyon gives the location its distinctive character: corals cling to the walls and reef fish occupy every ledge.
An appealing dive for those who love underwater landscapes and photography. Explore the outer walls and small shelters; the guide decides whether conditions allow passage through the cleft.

Marine protected area
South Ari Marine Protected Area
A chance to meet ocean giants
The southern part of the atoll includes a marine area known for whale sharks. Dhigurah lies nearby, making it a starting point for exploring South Ari’s waters.
Watching a whale shark glide past is one of the reasons to choose this island. This is wild nature, so encounters do not run to a timetable. Ask the dive centre about trip formats and wildlife-viewing rules.

Find your island
More than diving. An island to call your own.
Between boat trips, stroll along the shore, look back through your underwater photos or simply spend time by the water. Add a guesthouse to your package if you would like to stay for a few days.
Dive locations are chosen according to the weather, currents and the group’s experience. Wildlife encounters are not guaranteed. Discuss your preferred dives with the dive centre in advance.
